Kids Director

High Point,

North Carolina

Community Bible Church is an Evangelical Free Church that leans reformed in their theology. They are a multi-generational, gospel-centered, Christ-centered, Bible-teaching contemporary family of redeemed sinners located in the Piedmont Triad area of North Carolina.

Church Description

Community Bible Church’s ministry footprint is located in High Point, North Carolina, a growing city of approximately 112,000 people, with almost half our city’s population being under the age of 35.

CBC is poised for gospel growth and gospel influence in their city and beyond. We are experiencing unprecedented unity and organizational stability. Over the past year, they have received over 300 first-time guests and baptized 22 people. God is working to create a greater sense of ministry alignment and enthusiasm about the mission (devote, disciple, deploy). This fall they launched the Everyone Generosity Initiative (a $5.5 million dollar capital campaign) with unbelievable support and excitement. They believe the Everyone Generosity Initiative will enable them to accelerate and maximize impact in their city, creatively connect to deepen relationships, and fiercely focus on what God has for the church next.

Community Bible Church is seeking to create a culture and context for ordinary people to experience the transforming power of the gospel of Jesus Christ so they can display God to others and change the world for God’s glory, the good of their neighbors and the nations.

Position Description

Family is a big deal at Community Bible Church! Community:Kids is led by dedicated, creative, vetted, and committed Gospel Partners (volunteers). This next leader will oversee everything under the area of children’s ministries with a focus on partnering with parents, leadership development, and empowering the Gospel Partners (adult volunteers) to lead their groups. They use Gospel Project and have seen solid growth across the age spectrum.

The children’s ministry is broken up into 9 different classrooms during both Sunday morning worship services. The primary role of the Children’s Director will be to encourage, equip and mobilize the Gospel Partners who lead each of these areas.
