Jena brings 10+ years of talent and leadership development experience to the Nonprofit team. She’s largely built a career in the marketplace, working at companies like Citi, the NYSE, The Muse and a multi-client family office. Because she met Jesus while working on Wall Street, Jena is passionate about integrating faith and work. She specializes in helping organizations understand their human capital needs and then helping to connect them to the right leaders.

In 2017, she launched a career coaching turned outplacement firm, Recruit the Employer, which helps companies navigate Layoffs with Dignity. She feels strongly that organizations should care as much about offboarding as they do about onboarding.

She lives in Franklin, TN with her fellow Pittsburgh-native husband, Brent, daughter Vivian and sheepadoodle Hank. They are active in their local church and TN foster care initiatives. Recently, she launched a cross-generational, faith-based podcast with her mentor called My Southern Godmother.
