Janie Mehaffey is a champion of people, an advocate for clarity, and a celebrator of God’s work in people’s lives. As an Associate with Slingshot Group, she brings experience in nonprofit and church leadership to help organizations find the right leaders to make a lasting Kingdom impact.

Before joining Slingshot, Janie served as Vice President of Culture and Team Development at Stadia Church Planting, where she shaped a relationship-driven, high-impact staff culture. She also provided leadership in marketing and fundraising, and continues to contract with Stadia to equip and support church planters nationwide.

Janie has served as Communications Director at Traders Point Christian Church in Indianapolis and as a marketing strategist with Fishhook, where she partnered with churches to strengthen their mission alignment. She has worked with nonprofits like Exponential Network, the American Diabetes Association, and Kappa Delta Sorority, and has helped plant churches in Manchester, CT, and Miami, FL.

Janie and her husband, Matt, live in Pittsburgh, PA, with their two sons who are adopted from Taiwan. They serve together at Discovery Church, where Matt is the Lead Pastor and Janie serves as Coaching Pastor. She is passionate about helping people discover how to lead out of their authentically designed God-purpose.
