Jada Swanson serves as a Staffing and Coaching Associate in the Senior Leadership Division at Slingshot. For over 20 years, she’s worked in the local church in various pastoral roles, including Worship, Discipleship, and Senior Leadership. Her ministry journey consists of church planting, church restarts, and executive leadership in churches of varying sizes and contexts. Following a long tenure in pastoral ministry, Jada transitioned into the world of fundraising in Higher Ed., where she served as the Executive Director of Advancement & Planned Giving at Southeastern University. Sensing God’s call back to pastoral ministry, Jada joined the pastoral staff at Willow Creek Community Church, and serves on the Executive Team as the Central Teams Pastor.

Jada is passionate about helping churches and faith-based organizations accomplish their mission as they seek to expand God’s Kingdom. She naturally combines her love for fostering authentic connections with her strategic gifts and organizational strengths to match churches with candidates who possess the skills and gifts they need.

Jada considers herself to be a lifelong learner, having earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Vocal Performance, a Certificate in Fundraising Management (CFRM) from the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, and a Doctorate in Worship Studies. For fun, she enjoys road trips and around the world excursions with her family, exploring and learning about other cultures & cuisines, and searching for the next best coffee shop.
