With over 20 years of involvement in kids’ and student ministry, Crystal is passionate about seeing the next generation impacted by the gospel of Christ. She currently serves as the Director of Kids’ Ministry at Westwood Baptist Church in Olympia, WA. Professional and personal hardships have shown her how vital it is to have a strong support network and be connected in a church where you are called, equipped, and have room for growth. Crystal brings that vision to the Slingshot team where she is motivated to help leaders and churches find their perfect match.

Crystal is also an active member of the Ministry Boost and INCM communities. She blogs for INCM and Lifeway Kids, serves as an INCM coach, and is a graduate of the Bethel Seminary Engage Family Ministry Certificate program.

Crystal loves reading, going to the beach, and playing video games with her three sons. She also loves writing and published a YA Christian fiction novel. Maybe someday she’ll write a sequel?
