Cory Thurman brings 20 years of church experience serving and equipping the local church in Texas and Northern Virginia. He has experience working in all aspects of local ministry ranging from NextGen, Worship, Production and Senior Leadership. As an Executive Pastor, Cory has helped numerous churches clarify their vision and strategy, cultivate healthy teams, and made the development of new leaders the forefront of his ministry. This experience equips him uniquely for his role as an Associate in the Senior Leadership Division at Slingshot Group.

Cory and his wife Magen live in Dallas and have two daughters. He grew up where “lake life” and “ranch life” meet, and in his spare time, he actively tries to convince his family of the importance of both.
