Brian Aaby has served in student ministries for more than 25 years. As a natural networker and developer, Brian is thrilled to serve as a Senior Associate of Next Gen at Slingshot where he is privileged to partner great pastors and directors with fantastic churches. In addition to serving the local church for 18 years as a youth pastor, in 2008 Brian launched an organization (Youthmark) which branded Mission51— training for the 51 weeks beyond the mission trip.  Brian writes (books, articles and blog) and speaks nationally and internationally at camps, retreats and conferences. He loves using his strengths in both strategy and ideation to collaborate with churches and parachurches to take necessary next-steps to excel in ministry.

He resides outside of Seattle with his wife Elisabeth and their three children!
