Youth Director

The Youth Ministry Director for CRCC has the responsibility of teaming with families in bringing up youth in the Christian faith; this is a vital ministry in the church. The Youth Ministry Director establishes and oversees an effective youth ministry to the church and works to provide an outreach to the youth of the community as well as other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a comprehensive plan for youth ministries, recruiting and retaining enthusiastic staff and volunteers.
• Understand and address the spiritual and developmental needs of the youth, leading programs and representing their concerns to the church leadership.
• Collaborate with the Associate Pastor to set short-term and long-term goals, staying updated on trends and implementing relevant methods.
• Manage follow-up processes for volunteer interest, provide training and support, and mentor potential leaders, ensuring smooth and excellent ministry operations.
• Develop and maintain safety and security guidelines, including background checks and youth protection training.
• Handle administrative tasks such as maintaining volunteer data, overseeing policy adherence, managing the budget, selecting curriculum, and conducting leadership meetings.

What a Strong Candidate Would Look Like:

• A clear calling to minister to students, leaders and parents of teens.
• Desire to grow and develop other leaders
• Completion of college preferred. High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required;
• A minimum of three years’ experience in related field.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members, internal partners, and external parties.
