Bay Area Community Church

Worship Pastor

Annapolis, Maryland

About This Organization

Bay Area Community Church was founded in 1986 as a church plant. Greg St Cyr was named Lead Pastor in 1997. Bay Area met in a local high school until 2006, when they purchased and built phase 1 of their current facility. Their mission is to make passionate, maturing followers of Jesus from here to the nations. That mission permeates all that they do as a church.

Bay Area is committed to integrating a high view of God’s Word in theology and doctrine with a practical focus that resonates with people and leads to transformed lives, families, communities, and nations.

The culture of the Bay Area is described as flexible, fast-paced, grounded, and constantly moving. The atmosphere is authentic, relationally warm, connective, and infused with a relaxed and educated professionalism likely drawn from the ethos of its surroundings. The Word of God is central to teaching, with prayer and a biblical perspective consistently informing decisions.
