Northwest Bible Church in Spring, Texas, is a vibrant and growing fellowship of believers located just northwest of Houston. In 1976, several families in the Spring-Klein area joined together for a home Bible study to reach neighbors who either didn’t attend church or had not yet trusted Christ. Through this home Bible study, God began doing great work, and it was soon apparent that there was a need for a new, local church that taught biblical truth. As a result, the core group of families launched Northwest Bible Church, meeting for the first time in March 1977. Over the years, God has continued to bless the church, and for the last 47 years, this fellowship of believers has impacted Northwest Houston and beyond.
Today, Northwest Bible Church is a thriving congregation with a deep passion for discipleship, evangelism, and reaching the world around them. We aim to help people find biblical direction for life: everlasting life through faith in Jesus and the abundant life available to those following him.
Work with the Lead Pastor to plan the worship services in accordance with the church’s philosophy of worship and the NWBC doctrinal statement
– Serve as the primary worship leader in the Sunday worship services.
– Lead and develop an effective worship team to accomplish the church’s philosophy of worship.
– Oversee all music for church ministry activities, including setting standards and providing resources for staff and volunteers.
– Develop a process to identify and deploy new volunteers for the worship ministry.
– Shepherd and care for all members of the adult worship team.
– Train and develop all members of the adult worship team.
– Work with student and children’s ministry leaders to create age-appropriate worship experiences within the church.
– Lead the media ministry (which includes live streaming, presentation lighting, sound, and all technology related to multimedia)
– Develop a process to identify and deploy new volunteers in the church’s media ministry.
– Shepherd and care for all members of the media team.
– Train and develop all members of the media team.
