Worship Pastor

The Worship Pastor will collaboratively shepherd the congregation in understanding that worship is a lifestyle. While there will be formal worship times through song at church services, the worship pastor will strive to model and communicate what a life of worship looks like throughout the day.

This includes:

• Creating an inviting, worshipful atmosphere where people can meet with and celebrate God.
• Leading the congregation and the worship ministry members in growing their relationships with God.
• Living out our disciplemaking culture by intentionally mentoring a team of worship leaders to follow Jesus and grow their understanding of worship and skill in leading worship as vocalists, musicians, or tech team members.
• Working with the Teaching Pastor and Director of Communications to support and develop their messages so they are as effective as possible.
• Creating a worship culture throughout the church by building music and tech teams with ministries of all ages to worship God in age-appropriate ways.
• Overseeing and building a tech team that will support and equip all of Faith Church’s ministries and manage the equipment needed in each building.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and train others to lead the musical worship for the worship services
• Lead the Music Team
• Lead the Technical Team
• Work alongside other pastors/director
• Work with other ministry leaders to build worship teams for students, kids, and senior adults.
• Be available to serve the church in an associate role with other pastoral duties
