Worship Leader

Southeast Christian Church is currently seeking a full-time Worship Leader for their Elizabethtown campus. The right leader is passionate about worship, leadership and shepherding the local church. As the Worship Leader at the E’town campus, you will play a pivotal role in leading the church family in corporate and personal worship. You will lead engaging and authentic worship experiences, help to develop the volunteer team, and support the campus pastor at the local campus.

Key Responsibilities:

Pastoral Care:

• Plan and organize worship services in collaboration with the Worship Team.
• Lead and engage the church family in authentic worship experiences.
• Use your musical talents, to enhance worship experiences.

Leadership & Communication:

• Be an excellent communicator, both verbally and in written form.
• Recruit, lead and train volunteers while building a culture of mission and teamwork.
• Shepherd, disciple and build a strong sense of community within the worship team.
• Schedule Volunteers and organize service plans with Planning Center Online.

Pastoral Care:

• Serve as a pastoral presence at the E’town campus by leading studies, groups, weddings, funeral and other pastoral duties.
• Support the spiritual needs of the church family through prayer and spiritual guidance.

Team Collaboration:

• Maintaining a collaborative relationship with the Central Worship Minister and wider Southeast Worship team, across all campuses to ensure alignment on vision and values of worship at Southeast.
• Be a constant learner that keeps worship experiences fresh and spiritually enriching.
  Personal Engagement:
• Actively participate in the life of Southeast Christian Church, aligning with the church’s ‘statement of faith’, mission, vision and strategies.
• Join and support the E’town campus staff team and church family.

What a Strong Candidate Would Look Like:

• An experienced worship leader with a deep passion for worship and spiritual leadership.
• Exceptional vocal and musical skills, with guitar and/or other instruments.
• Strong communication skills, both vocally and in written form.
• Competency with Ableton software for creating, editing, and running tracks.
• A team player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
• A Pastor at heart, willing to invest time and energy into discipling and equipping others.
• Ordained minister of the Gospel.
• Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church, or willing to become one
• Exemplifies the seven staff values: Honor, Care, Accountability, Grit, Authenticity, Humility, and Fun
• Agree with the *Statement of Faith, submit to the leadership established by the church, and lives out the SECC church Mantras in tangible ways.
