Willow Creek Community Church began in 1975 with a bold passion to reach people through innovative weekend services and creative arts. Over the decades, God fueled exponential growth, expanding the ministry from a local movie theater into a multi-site church serving thousands of people across the Chicagoland area. Throughout its journey, Willow developed a deep commitment to compassion and justice locally and globally, constantly striving to love God, love people, and change the world.
In recent years, Willow has walked through a season of dynamic change, rebuilding, and renewed focus. Guided by leadership that prioritizes health, efficiency, and spiritual depth, Willow remains a multigenerational, multi-ethnic movement of disciples. Today, Willow Creek operates six campuses across the region. The Huntley campus is a thriving, fast-growing suburban community with a warm, friendly atmosphere and a deep heart for local families, schools, and children. As an organization, Willow continues to elevate the next generation, anchored in complete dependence on Jesus and a commitment to radical, unconditional love for all.
We believe kids are not just the future of the church—they are the church right now. As the Willow Kids Pastor at our Huntley Campus, you will build, develop, and execute a vibrant ministry for children from birth through 5th grade. Reporting to both the Huntley Campus Pastor and the Central Willow Kids Director, you will champion a fun, safe, and engaging environment where kids can experience God’s unconditional love, take steps in their faith, and discover their gifts. You will empower a strong volunteer team, equip parents, and collaborate across teams to raise up the next generation.
