Victor Valley Christian Church has been a presence in the High Desert since August of 1969, when twelve people gathered in a Hesperia home with a simple but deliberate vision: to plant a New Testament church that would serve the entire Victor Valley — not just one city. From that first meeting, they gave the church a name that reflected that broader calling. What began in a rented Grange Hall has since grown into a 14-acre campus in Victorville, with a 700-seat sanctuary. The original worship center is now home to the student room, kids room, and church offices, and our cafe is open with plans for renovation for a next steps building and room to keep expanding.
In early 2022, Pastor Dan joined VVCC as Senior Pastor, and his arrival marked a meaningful shift in the church’s direction. With a renewed focus on unity and outreach, VVCC has become a place where people with little to no church background feel genuinely welcomed. That commitment to meeting people where they are has shaped nearly everything about how the church now operates — including how it uses its week.
Rather than limiting ministry to Sunday mornings, VVCC has developed programming every night of the week. Pastor Dan leads a Monday discipleship discussion for church leaders. On Tuesdays, Pastor Dan and Pastor Ashley team-teach a Bible study focused on answering real questions about Scripture. Wednesdays bring an Alpha course, offered three times a year, for those who are exploring faith or just getting started. In January 2026, VVCC launched a Thursday night service that mirrors the Sunday morning experience — offered at 9 AM and 11 AM each week. Throughout the year, the church comes together for Lent fasting, a community-wide trunk or treat, and a Christmas season that kicks off with a tree lighting on campus.
Currently running around 350 in weekly in-person attendance, VVCC is a church in motion — committed to serving the community, preaching the gospel, and equipping the people in its seats to do the same.
