Vaughn Forest Church is tightly connected with the school system of Pike Road. This unique connection allows them to have full support to be involved in sports teams, events, on-campus activities, and school involvement.
Vaughn Forest Church was founded in 1994 with the goal of reaching the lost and disciplining the saved. Located in East Montgomery, right next to the city of Pike Road (which is currently experiencing incredible growth), we exist to build lives that honor God. We do this by connecting to God and each other, growing in our faith and helping others grow in theirs, sharing our faith with the world, and serving God by serving those around us with no strings attached. Our worship style is current/relevant, and our priority is reaching the next generation. In 2010, we opened a 1600-seat auditorium, and we have incredible space for our Kids and Student Ministries.
The Student Pastor is directly responsible for providing leadership for all elements of Middle School and High School Ministries within Vaughn Forest Church. This is a leadership, team building, coaching, and partnering position with the objective of helping the students of our area become totally devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
This position reports directly to the Executive Pastor of Ministries.
This position involves a typical work week consisting of Sunday through Thursday with Office Hours of 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Actual hours will vary depending on ministry needs.
