Vale Church has been making a difference in the Bloomington/Normal community for years. They have an excellent team, modern facilities(with a vision for expansion), and thousands of people who come together each weekend to celebrate Jesus. Still, their best days are ahead of them, and they are seeking a Lead Pastor with the vision and passion to lead them there!
Vale is a dynamic church located in Bloomington, Illinois. It is a church with 60+ years of roots that has experienced explosive growth over the past six years. Since 2013, Vale Church has made huge strides to reinvent and redefine itself within the community. As a result, it has seen tremendous growth and a dramatic impact on people’s lives. Vale Church is a church on the move. On an average weekend, you will experience a welcoming environment, engaging teaching, and excellent worship.
The church is known in the community for its missional philosophy. The staff is young and eager. This church does what others will not do in their community to reach those whom others will not reach. They believe reaching their community means going beyond the four walls of a church building and getting their hands dirty to reach people. Vale Church partners with several local Christian organizations to reach people in ways that Vale could not otherwise. It is not about making Vale’s name great but about making Jesus known.
Vale moved into their new Bloomington Facility in early June of 2018, and the building has been rocking ever since.

The ideal candidate will be a passionate and gifted communicator with a heart for people, capable of leading and empowering a team of staff and volunteers to carry out the church’s mission.
