Challenges and Opportunities
- Growing with the Community: Apex and the surrounding Triangle area are rapidly expanding with young families, creating both a challenge and a massive opportunity for student ministry to reach new students every year.
- Building a Leadership Pipeline: While there is a committed core of leaders, the next Student Pastor will have the chance to expand and strengthen the volunteer team to multiply ministry impact.
- Balancing Depth and Reach: Students need both solid biblical teaching and engaging environments that connect with their everyday lives. The right leader will be able to hold these in tension.
- Developing Distinct Spaces: As the ministry grows, there may be opportunities to develop intentional ministry spaces and rhythms that uniquely serve middle school and high school students.
