General Expectations
In their role this person will be responsible for the discipleship and outreach of students and young adults. They will strive to create community and relationships such that each person knows they are valued and included. The pastor will serve as a vision-caster, shepherd, teacher, and servant leader.

General Responsibilities
- To provide leadership, direction, teaching, and shepherding to the volunteers and participants in their ministry
- Develop a discipleship plan for the spiritual growth toward spiritual maturity and prepare them for challenges they may face to their faith and life
- Create gatherings that are biblically accurate, culturally relevant, and high energy
- Collaborate with our Children’s Ministry in developing the pipeline and handoff of students
- Recruit and develop a growing base of volunteers for Student Ministries
- Design and provide small groups for the discipleship of participants
- Provide pastoral care, counseling, and spiritual direction on a regular/individual basis
- Effectively manage the budgets for their ministries
Education and Experience
- An undergraduate degree preferably with a concentration on ministry, ideally a graduate degree in theology as well
- Strong Biblical and doctrine foundation
- Proven track record of leadership, leadership development, and team building with 3+ years’ experience leading in youth ministry
- Knowledgeable in youth development, culture, and trends
