About This Organization

The Compass Church is a vibrant multisite church in the western suburbs of Chicago with a clear mission: Helping People Find & Follow God. Their broadcast campus in Naperville is the central hub, home to a strong Worship Arts team and passionate volunteer base. They’re known for relational warmth, high-quality worship, and a culture of ownership and excellence.

  • Support production for church wide events and step into non-technical roles when needed to serve the broader church.

What a Strong Candidate Would Look Like:

  • A self-starter with a passion for production and the drive to pursue excellence without constant oversight.
  • A servant-hearted leader who builds trust and empowers volunteers to grow both spiritually and technically.
  • Relationally intuitive and skilled at developing community within volunteer teams and staff culture.
  • Technically proficient with live audio and video systems, with broadcast experience preferred.
  • Teachable and flexible—able to adapt to evolving systems and collaborate in a multisite team.
