Theological Convictions & Ministry Philosophy (Wesleyan Heritage)
- The Bridge Church is rooted in a traditional Wesleyan theological heritage, and the Children’s Pastor must be aligned with these core convictions and ministry philosophies. These beliefs shape how we disciple children, partner with families, and lead together as a church:
- We practice infant (baby) baptism
- We affirm free will rather than predestination
- We are egalitarian in leadership and ministry roles
- We embrace a small-group model of ministry for discipleship and care
- We value adaptability and are open to change as we grow and respond to God’s leading
- We hold a traditional, biblical view of marriage and seek to live according to biblical values
