The Director of Finance is responsible for the strategic oversight and operational management of all financial functions at Summit Integrated Systems LLC. This role provides executive-level financial leadership across accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, payroll, compliance, and banking — while also owning the company’s state licensing and regulatory compliance programs and coordinating office hosting and events. The Director of Finance partners closely with the executive team to align financial strategy with organizational goals, ensure the integrity of all financial operations, and build systems that support sustainable growth. A strong command of GAAP, financial analysis, and cross-functional leadership is essential. All essential functions must be performed without endangering the health and/or safety of the individual or others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct all daily core financial operations including general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, per diem processing, monthly reconciliations, and biweekly payroll administration.
• Develop and present comprehensive financial analysis, monthly reporting, quarterly budget reviews, and cash flow forecasting to the executive leadership team.
• Lead annual budget creation and long-term cash flow strategy, managing distributions across entities, line of credit utilization, and capital allocation.
• Manage multi-state business licenses, contractor permits, regulatory filings, and corporate tax compliance across all operating regions to ensure audit-ready operations.
• Implement internal controls, check fraud preventions, and expense verification workflows using EOS, Ramp, and integrated ERP tools.
• Direct the company’s purchasing function to maximize strategic vendor relationships (including maximizing discounts), and ensuring procurement decisions are timed to optimize cash flow project schedules, while protecting cash flow.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the internal finance and administrative staff, fostering process automation and continuous professional growth.
• Partner cross-functionally with directors and team leaders to provide financial clarity, resolve operational bottlenecks, and align departmental activities with overall corporate financial targets.
