Cornerstone Church is in an exciting season of expanding through growth, staff and property for a new church home!
Cornerstone Church began in 1989 with a commitment to strong Bible teaching and international missions. After nearly closing in 2008, the church experienced rapid growth in the years that followed and moved into rented space for Sunday services. The rented space is a performing arts center at the local college. In the video below, you will see Lead Pastor, Scott Savage, share the update about the 11 acres the church will be soon closing on to build a new permanent campus in north Prescott. Since 1989, Cornerstone Church has been helping people take their next step towards Jesus, both in the Prescott area and around the world.Cornerstone isn’t a gathering of perfect people; we’re a community of broken people who are loved by God and desperate for the Holy Spirit’s power. We are passionate about helping people take their next step towards Jesus.Cornerstone sees close to 400 adults attending on Sundays in person and a couple hundred watching online each week. Cornerstone is a part of a family of churches known as the EFCA. You can learn more about the EFCA by clicking here. The EFCA has provided a very helpful Theological FAQ’s page, addressing a number of common theological questions people ask when they’re exploring a new church. You can also view the Cornerstone Constitution here.
The Student and Families Pastor has a heart and passion for students/student ministry. They provide leadership and spiritual shepherding for Cornerstone’s ministry to Junior High School and High School students (grades 6 through 12), their families, and the volunteer team. They create an exciting, fun, challenging, and growing ministry that engages all students to help them take their next step toward Jesus. They should develop vision and infrastructure for this area that is in keeping with the church’s ministry strategies and philosophy. They should lead by example and cultivate a positive spirit throughout the church family.
