The Groups and Outreach Director will lead the charge in connecting people to meaningful community and mission at Stonecreek. This leader will oversee all small groups and Bible studies, ensuring that at least 50% of our weekend attendance finds a group where they can belong and grow. They will also launch and lead a dynamic outreach ministry that spreads the Gospel into our neighborhoods, while developing and managing a network of local mission partners that allow Stonecreek to serve our city in powerful and practical ways.

About This Organization

Stonecreek Church was started by Johnson Ferry Baptist Church in Marietta, Georgia in 2000, where 524 people gathered together. Today, the church has welcomed hundreds of individuals into the Kingdom of God and has been a beacon of hope for others, paving a path of freedom found in the Gospel message. Over 1,500 people gather each Sunday united under a common purpose of pursuing life in Jesus as its greatest passion.

Senior Pastor Steven Gibbs leads the church in a team-oriented and a discipleship-focused style of leadership. Under his wing, the high capacity staff of Stonecreek strives to make each Sunday the best day of a believer’s week, regardless of their age. The Stonecreek community is passionate about helping their neighbors and reaching people where they are, in an effort to maximize the impact of His Kingdom.

Stonecreek Church currently has two locations, one in Milton, Georgia and the other in Forsyth County, Georgia. The Milton location has been operating from the same building for over twenty years. The Forsyth location is currently operating out of Forsyth Central High School.

Location

Milton, located just outside the Alpharetta area, is one of the youngest cities in north Atlanta/Fulton County. Milton provides a high quality of life, and is known to be a distinctive community embracing small-town life and heritage while preserving and enhancing its rural character.
