California

Why I Love This Opportunity

Chris Lagerlof

Senior Associate

I’m excited to partner with Silicon Valley Christian Assembly to help them find a relational and energetic English Ministry Pastor. SVCA is an exciting, fun, and dynamic church looking for a relational leader with visionary capacity and an entrepreneurial spirit to lead its current English Speaking ministry and community into the preferable future.

About This Organization

Silicon Valley Christian Assembly (SVCA) is a multi-generational, family-oriented church with rich and active ministries within its local and global community. SVCA conducts separate worship services in English and Mandarin and is known for its steadfast commitment to God’s Word and solid Biblical teaching.

The church was officially established in 1993. The members are mainly Chinese-speaking first-generation immigrants and English-speaking second-generation immigrants. SVCA knows that God’s eternal purpose is to be accomplished through Christ and the church. Therefore, “Christ and the Church” has also become the main focus for all their gatherings. Christ is the center, and the church is His testimony and expression.

In addition to establishing a church in Silicon Valley, they have also established the “Cedar Training Center” to serve many members at home and abroad with multimedia online training courses. In particular, their online ministry has served Christians in nearly 20 countries, with 80% of their students from China. SVCA sincerely hopes that God can use our church to shine for the Lord in this age, reveal His full grace, and inspire saints who love the Lord everywhere.
