About This Organization

Riverside Church was planted in 1916 and has a rich history in the Fort Meyers area. For over 100 years, Riverside has planted 11 churches and has taken bold risks to further the Kingdom.
Throughout its history, Riverside Church has consistently made shifts and taken new steps to lead its people in reaching and serving their community. It’s a legacy that lives throughout this church’s 100+ year history, and it continues to this day.
In 2010, Riverside began to shift from its traditional Sunday school roots to a disciple-making church. This was a major shift in culture that led them to who they are now. Riverside is now a relational church that puts a high value on the community throughout the week and not just the Sunday experience.
