Pinelake Church

Campus Student Minister (Middle School or High School)

Jackson,
Mississippi
The Campus Student Minister serves middle school or high school students at Pinelake’s Reservoir Campus, the original and largest Pinelake campus with approximately 7,000 people in weekend attendance. This role works in close collaboration with the Student Ministry team and under the direction of the Rez Next Gen Pastor and Lead Student Pastor to shepherd students, develop leaders, and support families. Depending on gifting and experience, this role will focus primarily on either middle school or high school ministry while remaining aligned with Pinelake’s One Church Student Ministry strategy. This leader plays a hands-on role in teaching, discipleship, events, and relational ministry during a critical season of student development.

Why I Love This Opportunity

This is a great opportunity for a student ministry leader who loves relational, hands-on ministry and wants to invest deeply in students and leaders. Pinelake offers strong vision, healthy structure, and a collaborative team environment. The right person will get clarity on their primary age focus while being supported by a broader student ministry team that values coaching, teamwork, and spiritual formation.

About This Organization

Pinelake Church is a thriving multisite church serving communities across Mississippi through five campuses and a unified One Church strategy. Since its beginnings in 1971, Pinelake has grown steadily under faithful leadership and a deep conviction that the local church is God’s primary vehicle for life transformation. Today, more than 15,000 people gather weekly to worship, study Scripture, and live out the mission of helping people Learn from Christ, Live in Christ, and Lead others to Christ.

With a strong commitment to biblical teaching, discipleship, and community outreach, Pinelake is known for creating environments where people encounter the truth of God’s Word and experience life change. Their vision — to see Mississippi changed one Life Change Story at a time — drives every ministry area, including a robust NextGen ecosystem that invests deeply in kids, students, and families. Across all campuses, the One Church Team provides unified leadership, strategy, and resourcing that enables Pinelake to move collaboratively and consistently toward its mission.

Location

Pinelake Church began in 1971 with a few families in a lakeside trailer—and now reaches over 19,000 people weekly across five campuses. Their vision is to see Mississippi changed one Life Change Story at a time. Under the leadership of Chip Henderson, Pinelake has grown with intentionality keeping deep discipleship at the center. The church is rooted in strong biblical teaching, Spirit-led worship, and a desire to help every person learn from Jesus, live like Jesus, and lead others to Him. Their reach is big, but their heartbeat is local invested in every corner of the state, from college towns to suburbs to small rural communities.

“The pace of life—raising a family and living in community with your neighbors—is ideal.”
