Pennsylvania

Why I Love This Opportunity

Petra Church is searching for a strategic leader with executive experience to pastor, lead, equip and develop the pastoral team and high-capacity ministry volunteers.

The Executive Pastor of Ministries will provide oversight to all of the major ministries of the church by helping to guide and steward the various ministry leaders. This person will be given great latitude in the ministry approach and methodology as they help the team to execute the vision established by the senior pastor and elders.

About This Organization

Petra Church has been bringing Jesus’ love, healing, and hope to New Holland and the surrounding community for nearly 4 decades. Nearly 2,000 people gather on the weekend during Petra’s two worship experiences.

In January 2021, after a search process that was guided by an outside consulting group, Petra’s Student Ministry Pastor, Brian Coles, was announced the successor to the 38-year lead pastor tenure of Lester Zimmerman. The transition has gone exceptionally well with great congregational support. The spiritual climate is healthy, and there is an expectation of even greater things ahead and a desire for more of God’s presence.
