Scaling for Growth – With a vision to reach 700-1,050 students, there’s a huge opportunity to build on the momentum of an already strong ministry. This means developing strategies for outreach, retention, and deeper engagement—making sure students aren’t just showing up but are truly growing in their faith.
Leader of Leaders – This role isn’t about doing everything alone—it’s about raising up leaders. Whether it’s student leaders stepping into new roles or volunteers owning key parts of the ministry, the new leader will need to invest in people and build a team that can disciple at scale.
Balancing Fun with Spiritual Depth – Parkview Students is known for being high-energy and engaging, but as it grows, the challenge is keeping that culture while also going deeper in discipleship. The best leader for this role will know how to create spaces where students have a blast but also get serious about following Jesus.
Keeping It Personal – With growth comes the challenge of making sure no student feels like just another face in the crowd. The key will be building strong small groups, training volunteers to genuinely invest in students, and finding ways to make sure every student feels known and cared for.
Partnering with Parents – Discipleship doesn’t stop at youth group—it continues at home. The new leader will need to create intentional ways to engage parents, keep them in the loop, and equip them to be spiritual leaders in their kids’ lives.
- You’re Relational & Approachable – You connect naturally with students, volunteers, and parents, making people feel valued and known. Whether it’s grabbing coffee with a student, training a leader, or chatting with parents, relationships are at the core of how you lead.
- You’re a Vision-Driven Communicator – You don’t just preach—you inspire. Whether on stage, in a meeting, or one-on-one, you cast vision, rally people to action, and constantly point students toward growth, discipleship, and leadership.
- You’re High-Energy & Fun, But Deeply Rooted – You know how to bring the energy and keep students engaged, but you’re also serious about helping them take next steps in their faith. You can balance humor and depth, making Jesus both exciting and real.
- You’re a Leader of Leaders – You don’t just do ministry—you equip others to lead. You know how to develop volunteers, empower student leaders, and build teams so the ministry thrives beyond just you.
- You Understand the Big Church Context – You’re comfortable working in a large church, collaborating across multiple campuses, and executing a shared vision while making ministry personal and impactful at your campus.
- You Think Big & Build Strategically – You’re not here to maintain; you’re here to grow. You understand what it takes to scale a ministry from 300 to 700+ students with a structured plan for outreach, discipleship
- You’re Resilient & In It for the Long Haul – You know ministry growth doesn’t happen overnight, and you’re committed to building something lasting. You have the patience, grit, and passion to invest in students, leaders, and a movement that will impact generations and leadership development.
