The gospel of Jesus Christ compels us to worship, serve, and learn about God, and, by the transforming power of the Holy Spirit, to take that gospel to our community and the world.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and lead all weekly and special services in a gospel-shaped, dialogical order of worship.
- Recruit, equip, and shepherd volunteer musicians, vocalists, readers, and tech teams; lead weekly rehearsals.
- Provide ongoing pastoral care for the worship ministry (prayer, discipleship, mentoring, encouragement).
- Introduce congregational songs that are musically rich, theologically deep, and God-centered; steward a healthy song diet across seasons of the church year.
- Lead and develop across styles (historic hymns/psalms and contemporary songs) with congregational singing at the center.
- Oversee worship personnel and operations: Choir Director, AVL coordinators, interns, and volunteers.
- Ensure excellence in AVL: maintain instruments/gear, coordinate stage/room setup, and oversee the church livestream.
- Collaborate closely with the Lead Pastor on service themes, Scripture, prayers, and seasonal planning.
- Chair and resource the Worship Committee; steward budget and scheduling.
Key Qualifications
- A clear, growing relationship with Christ; a heart for discipling people through worship.
- Strong vocal leadership and proficiency on guitar and/or piano; ability to lead band/ensembles.
- A servant-leader who communicates humbly, clearly, and winsomely.
- Ability to recruit, organize, and develop teams; strong interpersonal and administrative skills.
- Love for both traditional and contemporary worship expressions within a Reformed framework.
- Theological discernment to curate songs and elements that are biblically faithful and confessionally aligned.
- 3–5 years of worship leadership experience and a bachelor’s in music (or equivalent experience) preferred.
- Agreement with the confessions of the Christian Reformed Church.
