- Jesus is in charge and the Church belongs to Him, therefore, He determines the agenda for the Church. His agenda is to make disciples of all nations.
- Our task is to lead others to become fully devoted followers of Jesus.
- When Jesus referred to “all nations” He was simply pointed out the mission of the Church extends to everyone, everywhere.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and develop mission partnerships with NAMB and IMB missionaries to support their work
- Guide and assist missionary candidates and establish a ministry of outreach and encouragement to selected missionaries on the mission field
- Plan and fulfill mission journeys and help other staff do the same
- Develop, implement, and maintain a year-round global outreach plan to include as many people as possible in taking the Gospel to the ends of the earth
- Lead and direct Mt. Airy’s evangelism ministry
- Maintain and develop existing missions relationships
- Train and equip personnel for the mission field
Key Qualifications
- Must be a born-again Christian who fully supports Mt. Airy’s Statement of Faith and exemplifies high moral and personal standards
- Previous experience as a Missions Pastor, team leader leading missions teams, or other area of ministry responsible for missions
- Ability to work well with volunteers, staff, and community leaders
- Ability to prepare and manage budgets, organize mission journeys and community events, and appropriately communicate to a varied audience
