Key Responsibilities
Worship Leadership
- Collaborate with the senior team to build and host celebratory worship services.
- Lead worship gatherings towards transformative and spiritually expectant moments.
- Create immersive worship moments to nurture deep engagement and kingdom encounters.
Team Development
- Oversee a diverse team of musicians, vocalists, songwriters, and production staff.
- Cultivate a collaborative and creative culture of excellence, growth, and support.
- Provide training and resources to cultivate the unique callings of upcoming worship leaders.
Creative Direction
- Curate the creative direction of all worship services, special events, and church conferences.
- Encourage the quality of production in all aspects, including sound, lighting, and visuals.
- Foster a flourishing of new song writing and creative and unique local church expression.
Pastoral Coaching
- Serve as a pastoral parent within the worship eco-system and the wider church body.
- Participate in general pastoral opportunities, including teaching and leadership coaching.
- Be known within the congregation, fostering a culture of spiritual growth and passion.
Department Management
- Lead and direct the worship ministry to include, budget, resources, logistics, and challenges.
- Ensure maintenance and procurement of musical instruments and technical equipment.
- Curate and cast long term vision for expansion, multiplication, and maturation.
Key Qualifications
Experience: Ideal 10 years leading worship at similar size church; Minimum – 5 years at a 1200-1500 size church.
Education: Preference is either music degree or theology/pastoral degree.
