Primary Responsibilities
The Adult Ministry Director provides vision, leadership, and oversight for Mosaic’s adult ministry strategy by leading and developing our staff members that oversee Spiritual Formation, Care & Life Change, First Impressions, Women’s Ministry, and Missions & Outreach.
This role is responsible for:
- Setting and executing a unified strategy that helps adults move from first connection to full engagement, spiritual growth, and life change
- Hiring, developing, coaching, and leading ministry staff, ensuring each area operates with clarity, alignment, and excellence
- Building healthy ministry systems that are scalable, measurable, and reproducible
- Coaching Mosaic staff to strengthen volunteer leadership pipelines and cultivating a culture of ownership and development
- Ensuring strong assimilation pathways from first-time guest to community, serving, and discipleship
- Providing pastoral leadership by equipping teams to care effectively for the spiritual, relational, and practical needs of the congregation
- Maintaining strategic partnerships with local and global mission partners and overseeing benevolence efforts
- Managing ministry budgets with strong stewardship and accountability
- Collaborating closely with the Executive Pastor and team of Directors to advance the overall vision and culture of Mosaic
