Moraga Valley Presbyterian Church

Director of NextGen Ministry

Moraga,

California

About This Organization

The Moraga Valley (Lamorinda) and the greater Bay Area are some of the richest harvest fields in the entire country. The culturally diverse people of the local and greater community are multi-generational- many families decide to raise their families in the area as the schools are rated in the top quartile in the state. Young families seeking proximity to San Francisco, Oakland, and Walnut Creek and a safe, family-friendly community choose the Lamorinda area. Mostly, people here have almost no current concept of Christ or church, and the right candidate will see this reality as a lifetime opportunity. MVPC recently hired Brandon Morrow as their new Lead Pastor. He brings excitement to those engaging with Christianity for the first time. Younger families are being drawn to the church through his fresh vision, contagious attitude, and the relational investment he is making in the community. The right candidate will see current ministries, such as Family Ministries, including Children’s Ministries, Student Ministries, and Nurtury Preschool, as primary means of effective outreach and discipleship in the community.
