NextGen Pastor

The ideal candidate is a leader of leaders who has several years of experience in larger churches. This person should have expert-level knowledge in either Student Ministry or Kids Ministry and would be a bonus if it were both. This person will oversee a staff of nearly 20 between Kids and Students with direct leadership to both the Kids and Student Pastors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee vision and direction for the entire NextGen department (birth through 18).
• Oversee Kids Ministry Director who leads 8 other staff
• Develop systems for recruitment, training, and sustaining of volunteers in both Kids and Students
• Oversee Student Pastor who leads 9 other staff
• Determine and manage the budget for the entire Kids and Student Ministry
• Communicate with clarity and passion (whether in oral or written form).
• Be Fun!

What a Strong Candidate Would Look Like:

• This candidate should have completed his Bachelor’s degree
• The ideal candidate has 10 or more years of history in growing ministries
• The candidate should be excellent in his communication skills from the stage, behind a computer (written), and in one-on-one settings
• The well-qualified candidate should be a fun person to be around and value leading a team in that direction
