Mission, Vision, and Values
Mission:
- Draw LIFE from God and POINT others to Him.
Vision:
- To provide a workplace where the principles of character, chemistry, competency, capacity, calling, and contentment fuel Lifepoint’s mission.
Values:
- Gospel Identity: We believe that each individual’s worth is defined by God. The Gospel means that even though we are undeniably flawed by sin, we are also unbelievably loved through the Cross. We believe that God’s love sustains our identity to give us increasing victory over the power of sin. Romans 5:8
- Reaching Priority: We believe that part of our responsibility is to advance God’s Kingdom in the world starting in Delaware County, then to the Midwest, and then to the world. We are called to care for our neighborhoods as well as for the nations. We seek to welcome, send, go, and mobilize to the ends of the earth. Acts 1:8
- Authentic Community: We believe that God wants us to be connected to each other…not isolated from each other. So, living in biblical community means that we choose to connect with, include, and involve others in our lives. It means that we all have a place to belong. Acts 2:40-47
- Spiritual Intimacy: We believe that God wants everyone to grow spiritually. That means primarily that God sent His Son to die for us so that we would have a relationship with Him instead of following a set of prescribed mechanical rules. We believe that this begins with consistently reading and praying God’s Word into our lives. Mark 1:35
- Personal Ministry: We believe that everyone plays a part in God’s redemption story. You and I are not created where we are and when we are by accident. God has wired each of us for meaningful investment in the community, which requires us to move. Romans 12:4-8
