I love LifePoint and its heartbeat and mission to “pursue the one.” This is a great opportunity for a strategic leader with executive experience to pastor, lead, equip, and develop the pastoral team and high-capacity ministry leaders. This role would be great for an individual who loves to help lead a great church and teach on a regular basis.
LifePoint Church is a high grace, low shame-based church with a non-denominational feel. They are fully committed to both the Great Commandment (Mt. 22:37-39) and the Great Commission.
(Mt. 28:18-20). Their mission is to “People Helping People Find and Follow Jesus.”
Rusty and Brittany Gerhart took over the lead pastor role at LifePoint nearly ten years ago. When they arrived, the average weekend attendance was approximately 180 people. God showed up in a big way and has done amazing things. LifePoint currently runs around 1,800 on an average weekend and continues to grow. They recently purchased their second location and will launch that campus in December 2023.
LifePoint is driven by the answer to two questions: Does our community know we’re here? Would our community miss us if we weren’t here? They partner with schools in the community at every opportunity. They host numerous school events at the church. They have healthy, effective relationships with city and school officials.
The Executive Pastor will serve on the Executive Leadership Team (XLT) and effectively implement the vision, goals, and strategic initiatives of LifePoint. This includes driving the vision to develop followers of Jesus Christ through effective leadership. The Teaching Pastor will work alongside the Executive team under the supervision of the Lead Pastor.
