Key Responsibilities
Develop, Implement, and Support a Church-wide Discipleship Strategy
- Design and steward a comprehensive discipleship pathway for all of LifePoint.
- Oversee baptism and membership processes that integrate new believers and members into the life of the church.
- Align the values, goals, language, calendaring, and leadership development efforts of all adult ministries (men’s, women’s, groups, marriage, counseling, seniors, pastoral care, LifePoint Institute, membership, baptism, and residency/internship program).
- Collaborate with campus leaders to ensure discipleship effectiveness, consistency, and scalability across locations.
Manage and Care for the Adult Ministries Staff
- Recruit, develop, and deploy staff and key volunteers for adult ministry areas (groups, women’s, counseling, seniors, and administrative support).
- Provide ongoing coaching, encouragement, and accountability for ministry health and alignment.
- Shepherd and care for staff through regular feedback, mentoring, and prayerful leadership.
Lead Assimilation and Connection Efforts
- Oversee the full assimilation process, from first-time guest engagement to full church participation.
- Partner with Guest Services, Groups, and Adult Ministries to create a clear, relational next-step pathway (e.g., Connect Events, Membership, and Serve Teams).
- Ensure that communication, follow-up, and relational connection systems are intentional, timely, and effective.
- Develop and train volunteer teams to provide a warm, personal, and consistent experience for every guest.
- Evaluate and refine assimilation systems to reduce barriers and increase meaningful connection across campuses.
Key Qualifications
- Master of Divinity (M.Div.) or higher preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant ministry leadership experience.
