Liberty Heights Church

Groups & Mobilization Pastor

Cincinnati, Ohio

Why I Love This Opportunity

Luke Francis

Associate

This role provides a unique blend of relational and organizational ministry focus. For the ministry leader seeking to strengthen and expand a healthy Groups ministry in a healthy leadership environment, this role is well poised for its next leader on day one.

LHC is a team marked by collaboration, health, and a commitment to regularly bettering how it operates. It is not a church that settles on “okay” and is guided by its mission of making disciples who gather, grow, give, and go. Under Pastor Brad Cunningham’s leadership the ideal candidate will serve in a growing church, and a church where they will personally grow and be challenged in their walk with Jesus.

About This Organization

Liberty Heights is governed by four core values: Dependent Prayer, The Priority of Relationships (Biblical Community), The Authority & Sufficiency of Scripture, and Involvement over Attendance. These values drive the church towards dependence on God, His Word, and other Christians.

The church is contemporary in approach to worship and discipleship and employs an expository teaching style. They place a great emphasis on transformational application through a deeper understanding of how the affections of our hearts drive one’s behavior. They have a clear discipleship strategy that flows from preschool to adulthood and is executed through both large and small groups.

Liberty Heights has an average Sunday attendance of close to 1,200 people with over 1,500 regular attenders. It is located in the suburbs of northern Cincinnati and has two locations, with one central Sending Campus in Liberty Township plus one nearby campus in the community of Lebanon.

Position Description

Based on gifting and skill, the role may include periodic preaching opportunities at the church’s campuses.

  • Give attention and emphasis to strengthening the Small Groups ministry
  • Help new people connect with the church and Small Group ministry at LHC
