About This Organization

In an old bait house more than 40 years ago, seven dedicated families humbly started Lakepointe Church. They had one goal: to start a church serving the young families moving into their community. Now, over 24,000 people meet weekly in 2 languages across their 8 Dallas/Fort Worth locations, and the spirit of the seven families can still be felt today. Additionally, God has used Lakepointe to reach beyond their DFW communities through their church planting network (Strategic Launch Network) to plant over 90 churches, to date, in the most spiritually hard-to-reach cities across the United States.

Location

Lakepointe Church campuses are currently primarily on the east side of the DFW Metroplex.

Our Rockwall Campus is located near a large recreational lake. This lake provides a natural transition that helps residents in Rockwall and surrounding communities have a comfortable and engaging lifestyle with a mix of small-town charm and modern conveniences. The town’s location by Lake Ray Hubbard provides scenic views and opportunities for outdoor activities like boating, fishing, and hiking. The historic downtown area features unique shops and a variety of dining options, creating a friendly and lively atmosphere. Community events, such as farmers’ markets and concerts, are common and help to foster a strong sense of community.

Located in the smallest county in the state, Rockwall is known for its exemplary schools, low crime rates, and well-kept parks, making it a family-friendly place to live. Though it has the heart of a small town, Rockwall County has been one of the fastest-growing counties in the state of Texas for over a decade.
