Key Responsibilities
- Lead a highly-skilled and self-forgetful church-wide music ministry
- Grow the congregation’s desire and capacity to worship Jesus both corporately and personally
- Recruit, audition, develop, lead, and administrate Worship Leaders, MDs, and musicians
- Create excellent and creative worship environments for Ironwood and its ministries
- Shepherd and care for volunteers as disciples of Jesus
- Build and maintain a healthy relational culture within the worship ministry
- Collaborate closely with the Teaching Pastor and Production Director for Sunday services
- Lead song arrangement, chart writing, tracks, and worship technology implementation
- Direct Ironwood’s artistic and creative expression in music
- Communicate proactively with volunteers and worship teams
- Oversee the worship department budget
- Empower multiple worship leaders and develop a plurality of voices on the platform
- Lead worship regularly while intentionally developing others

Education & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of worship ministry experience in a church context
- Proficiency in vocal performance and guitar and/or piano
- Multiple instrumental proficiencies preferred
- Undergraduate or Master’s degree in Bible or Theology preferred
- Proficiency with DAWs; Ableton experience preferred
- Ability to learn new technologies and software quickly
- Experience leading volunteers and building teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Administrative competency in leading a multi-faceted ministry department
- A high regard for the local church and a hospitable posture toward non-Christians
