Mission, Vision, and Values
- Scripture Above All: Hope Point Church is anchored in a high view of Scripture as the final authority for faith, life, and ministry. God’s Word shapes preaching, decision making, discipleship, and leadership. Teaching is text driven, faithful to the intent of Scripture, and applied with pastoral wisdom and humility.
- Expository Preaching with Pastoral Care: The church values clear, verse by verse proclamation of the Bible that engages both the mind and the heart. Preaching is marked by theological depth, gospel clarity, and a shepherd’s concern for the spiritual formation of the congregation.
- Elder Led, Shared Leadership: Leadership at Hope Point is rooted in a plurality of elders who share spiritual oversight and accountability. Decisions are made prayerfully, collaboratively, and with a commitment to unity. Authority is exercised with humility and a deep sense of stewardship
- Gospel Centered Discipleship: Spiritual growth is not accidental. Hope Point is committed to forming disciples who love Christ, know Scripture, and live on mission. Discipleship pathways are intentional, relational, and grounded in the transforming power of the gospel.
- Missions as a Way of Life: The church is passionate about proclaiming the glory of God among the nations. Global and local missions are not peripheral programs but central expressions of obedience to Christ. The church seeks to send, support, and sustain missionaries while cultivating a congregation that lives missionally in everyday life.
- Humble, Servant Hearted Leadership: Leaders at Hope Point are called to serve, not to be served. Character matters deeply. Integrity, teachability, prayerfulness, and a willingness to lead by example are essential marks of leadership within the church.
- Unity in Truth and Love: Hope Point values doctrinal clarity paired with relational grace. The church seeks to guard theological faithfulness while cultivating a culture of kindness, patience, and mutual respect. Unity is pursued not through compromise, but through shared commitment to truth and love.
- Faithful Stewardship and Excellence: The church believes God is honored through wise stewardship of people, resources, and opportunities. Ministry is approached with care, intentionality, and a desire to do all things with excellence for the glory of God.
