Hillside Christian Church is an exciting, innovative, and forward-thinking fellowship of passionate believers who want to reach their city, state, and world for Jesus. With a long history of excellence, Hillside is making a huge impact for the Kingdom. The right leader will have the opportunity to join this talented team to lead, shepherd, and love a team of highly skilled musicians, and do life and ministry for many years to come.
The church started as one campus in Amarillo in 1956. After being landlocked and still growing, in 2006, the church relocated in Amarillo under the leadership of Tommy Politz (now Pastor Emeritus) and changed names to Hillside Christian Church. Hillside continued to experience rapid growth in that season, and made the decision to add campuses in different locations. Hillside now consists of 10 physical campuses in the Texas Panhandle and Eastern New Mexico.
The church is led by Senior Pastor Johnathan Mast, who stepped into the role a year and a half ago, after serving on staff for 23 years. The church continues to grow, experience hundreds of baptisms every year, and is committed to helping people experience the Love of Christ.
