NextGen Pastor

The NextGen Pastor at Hill Country Bible Church provides vision, leadership, and alignment for all ministries from birth through college. This is a strategic and pastoral role that champions discipleship in the next generation, equipping staff and volunteers to help every child and student become more like Jesus. The ideal candidate will be a relational team builder, a catalytic leader, and a servant-hearted shepherd who thrives in a highly collaborative, high-capacity environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead a cohesive strategy for NextGen Ministries, ensuring alignment with the church’s mission and values across kids, students, and college.
• Equip and mentor staff and lay leaders to create vibrant, disciple-making environments for each age group.
• Monitor cultural and ministry trends to adapt strategies that engage the next generation effectively and biblically.
• Champion a volunteer culture by developing recruitment, training, and appreciation pipelines that empower volunteers to lead.
• Oversee planning and execution of programming, events, and initiatives that serve families and support faith development at home.
• Steward budgets, resources, and team performance to maximize ministry impact and ensure operational health.
• Foster a culture of collaboration with other ministry departments to create seamless family engagement across the church.
