Our Core Values: At Hill Country, we believe that our faith is something to be celebrated and lived out in every area of our lives. God has called us to be deliberate in the way that we respond to His perfect love and grace.
Responding to God’s Word: The Bible is God’s Word, and therefore it is trustworthy as the complete and final authority for our beliefs and actions. We allow it to challenge and shape us through teaching, groups, in our daily devotion, and through ongoing disciple-making.
Celebrating Life Change: God has greatly changed our lives, and we want everyone to experience His life-changing love. We intentionally share the good news of Jesus and help others follow Him, celebrating as God transforms lives.
Engaging Generations: We think past our individual life stages, extend connections, and build bridges. We are committed to being a church that ministers to all ages, supporting effective ministry to all seasons of life.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide vision and direction for NextGen ministry from birth through high school.
- Lead and develop a growing staff team including Elementary, Middle School, and High School Directors.
- Align ministry strategy across age groups with the overall mission of the church.
- Partner with parents to equip them as primary disciplers of their children.
- Create environments and structures that are relational, biblical, and reproducible.
Key Qualifications
- Prior leadership of a NextGen ministry team and oversight of staff is essential.
- Experience in a church of 500 or more with strategic planning and relational care.
- Strength in team development and cross-departmental leadership.
- Strong biblical foundation and alignment with Hill Country’s beliefs.
- Emotional intelligence and resilience in times of change.
Opportunity & Challenge
This is a rare window to lead at a church that’s redefining what ministry looks like in the twenty-first century. The NextGen Pastor won’t inherit a turnkey system but will help build something more meaningful, a generation raised in grace, led in truth, and formed in relationship. The biggest challenge is leading through change. But for the right leader, it’s also the most rewarding part.
