Hill Country Bible Church

Director of Marketing and Communications

Austin,
Texas
Hill Country Bible Church is entering an exciting new chapter. After years of operating as a multisite, the church is now re-centering around its Lakeline campus and preparing to launch its other two campuses as independent church plants. Rooted in biblical truth, Hill Country is expanding its efforts to equip and engage families in North Austin to love the world around them. With new branding in place and a reimagined website on the way, the church is seeking a mission-driven and collaborative Director of Marketing and Communications to help shape and steward the voice of Hill Country across internal teams and the surrounding community. This is a chance to lead a capable, high-potential team through change, build systems that support ministry leaders, and help families and guests experience the love of Jesus through every digital and physical touchpoint. The right leader will harness the team’s strengths and bring vision, structure, and momentum to help them thrive in this next season.

Why I Love This Opportunity

I get excited when I meet teams who are honest about where they’ve been, hopeful about where they’re going, and hungry for the right kind of leaders to help them get there. That’s what I found at Hill Country. This Director will need to build trust, create systems, align messaging, and empower a gifted team. There’s a beautiful humility and courage in the leadership here, and I believe the right person will have the support and clarity to amplify Hill Country’s voice to point more people to Jesus.

About This Organization

Hill Country Bible Church is a well-established, non-denominational church located in North Austin, Texas. Under the leadership of Lead Pastor Tim Kuhl, the church has made a bold and faithful decision to un-campus, launching its Leander and Steiner Ranch campuses as independent churches in September 2025. This pivot allows Hill Country to focus deeply on the Lakeline campus while continuing its historic commitment to church planting.

Hill Country has taken intentional steps to position itself for future impact. With a new brand identity, website, and physical spaces being redesigned, the staff is cultivating a culture of trust and relational ministry. A key emphasis in this next chapter is reaching and serving families with young children, helping them feel seen, supported, and equipped to live out their faith in the midst of a complex and changing world. Everything from their staffing structure to ministry strategy is being realigned to support this generationally significant work.
