High Pointe Church is much more than the worship service you attend on a Sunday morning. They are part of the continuing fulfillment of Jesus’ promise to build His Church; not a building but a movement of Christ-followers across all nations. They hold to following eight statements that express their vision individually and corporately as the movement continues.

The staff has a team mentality. Several of them have been on staff 10+ years. It is a place where Pastor Kevin leads by trusting his team to accomplish what they have been called to do. They meet as a team once a week, and look for ways to serve alongside each other.

• Coordinate with the Lead Pastor in designing and leading modern Worship Services
• Oversee Creative Volunteer Teams
• Oversee Part-Time Tech and Admin
• Provide spiritual leadership and encouragement to worship team members
• Recruit, audition, and train those involved in worship ministry
• Lead weekly rehearsals and cultivate a Christ-centered community
• Use Planning Center to order services, volunteer scheduling, and all facets of worship ministry
• This church uses  The position doesn’t have to build the tracks.  They have a subscription to Multitracks. The Worship Director mixes/sets levels on Playback
• The Director of Worship Arts is ultimately responsible for: song selection, programing services (including Communion and Baptism), AVL, social media, church app, website, graphics and ushers
• We have a P.T. AVL/graphic position (20 hours/week), social media (10-15 hours/week) and a part-time Admin (10 hours/week)
• This person would be walking into a full band that is strong musically and vocally and these P.T. positions are filled
• Use ProPresenter presentation software and Light Factory DMX lighting controls
• Create and implement new stage designs as needed
• Responsible for creating and overseeing the Worship ministry budget & maintaining all equipment/instruments

• Share some pastoral responsibilities of the congregation with other director

• Possess the ability to create/facilitate authentic and engaging worship experiences while respecting organizational policies and procedures. Someone who understands the technical needs for modern worship. Someone with musical and vocal skills.
• Highly relational (caring, personable and genuine on an individual level) with a teachable spirit and approachable nature.
• Ability to develop a team-oriented culture through recruiting, training, and mentoring.
• Creative nature, with a desire to incorporate and explore new ideas and experiences in worship.
• Prioritizes family engaging in the life of the church family.
• A growing, vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a clear calling to pastoral worship ministry.
• Demonstrated experience shepherding, discipling, and developing worship teams spiritually, musically, and relationally.
• Proven ability to cultivate a culture of authentic, Christ-centered worship that aligns with the church’s vision and theology.
• Experience prayerfully planning and leading weekly worship gatherings that are theologically rich and congregationally engaging.
• Ability to thoughtfully select songs and design services that support the preaching and the overall flow of the gathering.
• Proficiency in utilizing Planning Center to organize teams, communicate effectively, and execute worship gatherings with excellence.
• Strong vocal and musical leadership skills with the ability to lead confidently from an instrument.
• Experience recruiting, training, and mentoring musicians and vocalists at varying skill levels.
• A heart for pastoral care within the worship ministry, investing in the spiritual health, unity, and growth of team members.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Worship Ministry, Biblical Studies, Music, or a related field, or equivalent ministry experience and theological training.
