We are looking for a highly relational, strategic and visionary leader to work closely with our Senior Pastor as they serve as our Lake Zurich Campus Pastor – this is our original and largest campus, located in northwest suburbs of Chicago. This is a new role for us and a critical one! The LZ Campus Pastor will oversee/direct all facets of the staff and ministries of the Lake Zurich Campus. This person is the champion of the DNA, Mission, and Vision of Heritage Church and excels at leading others to grow the ministries and reach the community. Leadership, Excellent Stage Presence and Communication, Strategic Planning and Engaging Interactions will shape this role towards impact and success. This position oversees the entire Lake Zurich campus staff and works closely with the Senior Pastor to plan, lead, and direct our staff teams, volunteers, environments, and mission. They will have a strong presence in our weekend services through hosting and teaching consistently, and they will lead with an “Always Improving” style of mindset. Continually looking for ways to improve our staff, our culture, our environments, and efforts in and through our church. They will be the Chief of Staff to execute the vision of the Senior Pastor and Mission of Heritage Church.

The LZ Campus Pastor requires a highly strategic leader that’s inspired to build and grow a church campus. They must be strong and passionate about developing leaders. They need to be driven, focused and a strong organizational leader. The ideal candidate has proven their ability to grow an organization, manage and lead at a high level, and inspire and lead people. They must have a proven track record in growing a ministry. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills (large and small settings), effective leadership development experience (staff, lay leaders, volunteers) and prioritizes personal evangelism. Heritage Church is a multi-site, multi-generational church in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, with its central campus in Lake Zurich.
