Greenwood Community Church

Student Ministry Director

Greenwood Village, Colorado

Why I Love This Opportunity

Brian Aaby

Senior Associate

I love getting to work with Greenwood Community; this staff is young and brings a ton of energy to the table! It feels like they are doing everything with intentionality and are looking to step out in more ways and become more extroverted as a church. The student ministry has a solid foundation of faithful students and leaders, and this new leader will work with a Direct Report who will empower and trust!

About This Organization

Greenwood Community Church (GCC), in Greenwood Village, Colorado, has a 32-year history that, in many ways, parallels the wonderful landscape of the Rocky Mountains directly to their west. In 32 years, they have experienced peaks and valleys, but God’s faithfulness and glory are on full display.
Located in the southern suburbs of Denver, GCC has about 450 people gathered for worship each weekend. In many ways, the church is described as “introverted” in that it may take a few visits to feel like you’re home, but once you’re in, you’re in. This self-awareness is fantastic, and there are individuals trying to break down those walls and go out of their way to create a warm welcome and easier pathways into the family that is GCC.

The church is currently growing in its young family population. Each month in 2022 has seen a couple of new families commit to making GCC their home. The church has a rich history of welcoming people of all ages and backgrounds. It is situated in a prime location where scores of commuters drive by each day and are just minutes off the I-25 corridor.
