Green Bay Community Church is searching for a Production Director who can combine strong technical instincts with the ability to build and develop people. This leader will oversee production systems and environments across a highly active campus while recruiting, equipping and empowering volunteers to create excellent, authentic experiences for worship and ministry. The right person will understand audio, video and lighting, but won’t feel the need to be the smartest technician in every room—they will know how to lead specialists, simplify systems, solve problems and continually develop the people around them. This is an opportunity to help shape production in a church that values creativity and innovation while keeping relationships, discipleship and authenticity at the center.

  • Empowering Leader: Builds people before building systems. Recruits, equips, coaches and releases volunteers, recognizes potential in others, and develops leaders who can carry ministry responsibility without constant staff oversight. The next person should be able to take a ministry where several highly capable people carry a tremendous amount and broaden it into a deeper bench. The goal is not three indispensable volunteers; it’s a healthy, trained team with ownership.
  • Technical Aptitude: Possesses strong working knowledge across AVL and production environments, understands signal flow and systems thinking, can troubleshoot under pressure, and learns unfamiliar technology quickly. Does not need to be the deepest expert in every discipline, but must know enough to lead specialists credibly and step in when needed. Leadership wins over technical mastery, but technical competence is still very real.
  • Systems Builder: Creates production environments that are understandable, documented, repeatable and scalable. Simplifies where complexity adds little value, standardizes systems when appropriate, and develops workflows that allow volunteers to succeed without needing one person in the room. Someone who can gradually bring coherence to a large facility with a lot of technology and different systems.
  • Relational Pastor: Builds genuine relationships, cares about volunteers beyond what they can contribute, communicates well with different personalities, navigates conflict directly and healthily, and invests spiritually in the people serving alongside them.
  • Adaptable Learner: Stays curious, welcomes new ideas, learns quickly and can pivot when circumstances change. Brings enough creative instinct to partner with artists and ministry leaders without needing every idea to be their own, and is willing to modify systems when a better solution serves people or ministry.

About This Organization

Green Bay Community Church is a non-denominational church in Howard, Wisconsin, serving the greater Green Bay area with a clear mission: to multiply authentic disciples of Jesus who live their purpose in their city every day. The church values truth that is experienced rather than merely learned, creative spiritual expression, relational mission and honest relationships.

Sundays reflect that relational culture as well: GBCC gathers twice each weekend and even serves breakfast between services as an intentional opportunity for people to connect with one another.
