GRACEHOUSE builds disciples who build disciples, and it starts with time in God’s presence. Pastor Wayne grounds the vision in the book of Acts and teaches seven values that every ministry, including worship, carries:
- The presence of God: Disciples spend time with Him, and every service makes room for Him.
- The Word of God: Disciples devote themselves to Scripture.
- Spirit empowerment: Disciples live filled and led by the Holy Spirit.
- A Great Commission culture: The mission belongs to everyone, not just the platform.
- Spiritual community: Disciples do life together.
- Everyone a minister: The church equips people instead of performing for them.
- Every generation: Spiritual fathers, mothers, sons, and daughters serve side by side.
This fall, the whole church is walking through a campaign called Abide, built on John 15. Worship sits at the center of that vision, not at the front of the sermon. Services open with a short worship declaration that sets the room before the first song, and the team leaves space for silence, free worship, and whatever God wants to do that day.
GRACEHOUSE staff are young, relational, and quick to laugh. Most of the team is in their twenties and thirties, and the culture is healthy, energetic, and genuinely fun. The team spent a full year working through The Five Dysfunctions of a Team together, and it came out of a hard season of change with honest conversations and a clearer vision. Pastor Wayne leads a three-person vision team, and every other staff member reports to one of those leaders.
The staff believes ministry is about people first and programs second. Pastor Wayne will invest real time in the person he hires, and he expects that person to invest the same in the team. GRACEHOUSE runs on a pastor-led model with a board of four elders, and the lead pastor hires all staff.

- Set the spiritual culture of the team by putting the presence of God first in every rehearsal, prayer time, and service, and model a life of prayer, Scripture, humility, and submission.
- Recruit, onboard, and train vocalists, instrumentalists, and volunteers through a clear system that keeps working when you step away.
- Run a repeatable orientation for the whole worship team in your first year, built around the church’s vision.
